Piano lessons during the pandemic

One of the things I wanted to do when I retired was actually work with a piano teacher. I had taken lessons years ago and understand music theory and the basics of piano playing. But in 2020 suddenly COVID struck and my options shrank.

If I can have the discipline to update this page, I hope to write about:

  • The “skoove” application – pros and cons and other opinions
  • The free book on piano playing
  • Other Hints and tips
  • Chilly Gonzales “Re-Introduction Etudes”

As of this writing about a year later, I am moderately happy with my progress and hope to share what I’ve found out in the hope it will be useful to other adult re-learners of piano
